Wow those are some hills. I feel a little happier that I live right down the street from Kessa's school. Well when she goes to school that is... we still have a whole year to go.
You are brave...there is no bike lane on that road! But hey, every kids needs to grow up eventually...we can't always hold their hand! Love the desert scenery!! :)
I too am too chicken to even let my kids play out front alone. There are too many creepoids lurking. A few months ago over off Brimhall area a kid was assaulted while his dad was working in the yard. Don't feel bad protecting your kids. It's a good thing in my book and you still let your lil' guy have the experience. The world is changing these days.

I still haven't done that one, he asks all the time but I'm too chicken. Loved the Luke makeup pic I need to share that one with Jeremy.

I can actually see the school from my house so it feels liberating to him but it is really not that far.
You ARE brave. I let T ride his bike down to our neighbor's (1/2 mile or so), but no one else has left the property on one yet, LOL!
